The "Circuit of wooden churches from Northern Transylvania" aimed at the valorization and sustainable promotion of the cultural heritage of Maramure\u0219, but also a touristic component, the 16 wooden churches from the entire territory of the county being put to good use. The works included the construction of 16 tourist information centers in the vicinity of each church, with a specific Maramure\u015fian architecture, the arrangement of parking lots, the rehabilitation of fences, street lighting and in the area of the historical monument and parking lots, etc.<\/p>\n
